Paula Elliott: Object in Mind

Denise Bibro Fine Art is pleased to announce Paula Elliott’s second solo exhibition with the gallery, Object in Mind, running April 22 – May 15, 2021.

Elliott continues her major focus on works on paper, pursuing beauty and mystery of the imagined objects that inspire her. Occupied and negative space monumentalize the objects in these deftly creative compositions.

Elliott’s elegant use of line and color create mood, weight, and dimension. Her pristine works are inherently nuanced, provoking the viewer to interpret that which can be seen as mundane to the sublime. A master of these platforms of composition, her works magically transcend the viewer beyond the obvious.

Elliott has her degrees from the University of Wisconsin-Stout, Menomonie, WI, and Cornell University, Ithaca, NY. She has received grants and fellowships from the Virginia Center for the Creative Arts, Ragdale Foundation, Lake Forrest, IL, and the Noyes Foundation, Cornell University, Ithaca, NY. Her works are in various collections such as IBM Corporation, Sterling Forest, NY, Citibank, L.A. Los Angeles, CA, and Chase Bank, New York, NY. Elliott has had multiple shows in New York and throughout the United States.
